Renee Low Min Teng

Biography

Miss Renee Low embarked on her ballet journey at the tender age of four. Under the guidance of Ms Crystal Lum, she honed her skills from the age of six, achieving a remarkable track record of Distinctions and High Merits in Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Examinations spanning from Pre-Primary to Grade 8, Intermediate Foundation, and Intermediate levels. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Miss Renee recently completed her RAD Advanced Foundation examinations under the tutelage of Ms. Lena Foo and is currently pursuing Advance 1. Complementing her ballet expertise, she also excelled in CSTD Jazz Examinations, consistently garnering Honours.

Diversifying her dance repertoire, Renee delved into Chinese Dance during her secondary school years, training under the esteemed Mdm Ding Hong from Beijing Dance Academy. Additionally, she embraced Contemporary Dance under the guidance of Miss Ng Xian Cui, broadening her artistic horizons.

Being part of the pioneer batch of the Dancepointe Apprentice Team, Renee has been involved in the Apprentice Team for the past 10 years. Her dedication has led her to participate in a plethora of immersive experiences at prestigious institutions like the Liao Ning Ballet, Beijing Dance Academy, and the London Contemporary Dance School to broaden her experiences. She has attained notable achievements in esteemed competitions such as the Singapore Challenge Cup, CSTD Regional Dance Competition, Masterpiece Dance Competition, Get The Beat Singapore, and the CSTD Asia Pacific Dance Competition in Kuala Lumpur throughout her years in the Apprentice Teams.

With an unwavering commitment to her craft and a belief in continuous improvement, Renee ventured into teaching in hopes of nurturing future generations of aspiring young dancers, making use of her additional knowledge in Early Childhood Development and Education to create a safe learning space for her students.
