Corporate Social Responsibilty
At Dancepointe Academy, our mission extends beyond nurturing dance excellence — we are equally committed to creating a culture of compassion, generosity, and social awareness. We believe in using our platform and resources to support meaningful causes and to inspire the values of empathy and gratitude within our community.
As educators and artists, we understand the privilege of access to quality training and opportunities. That is why we actively seek ways to give back — whether through Community Outreach, Scholarships, or other contributions to the wider arts scene.
By leading with purpose, we hope to instill in our dancers not just technical mastery, but a sense of social responsibility and the desire to make a difference — both on and off the stage.

In 2020, Dancepointe Academy organized the DPA Care and Share Day, a heartwarming initiative where our teachers and students volunteered with the Willing Hearts Programme. On this day, we came together to prepare and deliver meals to those in need, making a meaningful impact on the community. The event was an opportunity to teach our students the value of compassion and social responsibility, while also strengthening connections within the academy and beyond.

UOL - PPGH Community Uplift Programme Celebration
The UOL–PPHG Community Uplift Programme, launched in 2023, supports children from lower-income families by helping families build stability and improve self-reliance, and enhance social mobility through coordinated, longer-term support.
Dancepointe Academy is honoured to be a supporting partner for this meaningful programme. As part of our contribution, our teacher, Mr Iskandar, has been conducting Kpop classes with the participating youths, providing them with a creative outlet to develop confidence, discipline, and self-expression in a positive and encouraging environment.
In line with our mission, "Dance as an Education", we believe that access to the arts should not be limited by circumstance. Through such programmes, we remain committed to using dance as a platform to uplift, empower, and inspire.

Small Actions, Continued Impacts
In support of individuals with special needs, Dancepointe Academy included cookies baked and produced by MINDS Bakers within our 2026 CNY Lucky Draw.
MINDS Bakers is part of the MINDS Social Enterprise Programmes, which aim to create opportunities that enable persons with special needs to integrate into society, reach their full potential, and shine in the best light.
By supporting MINDS Bakers, we aim to contribute to inclusive employment efforts and share the spirit of giving with our students and families. We believe that even small, thoughtful actions can create a positive impact and reflect the values we strive to uphold as an organisation.
We are grateful for the opportunity to share these thoughtfully prepared treats with our students and remain committed to playing our part in building a more caring and inclusive society.

Dancepointe is a Proud Corporate Donor of Singapore Ballet (2024–2025)
As passionate advocates for the arts, Dancepointe Academy is honoured to support Singapore Ballet — our nation’s only premier professional ballet company — as a corporate donor for both 2024 and 2025.
We believe in nurturing the next generation of dancers and contributing to the vibrance of Singapore’s cultural landscape. Our support helps bring world-class productions to the stage, cultivate young talents, and preserve the timeless art of ballet.
We are proud to play a part in sustaining the growth of ballet in Singapore and beyond.

In 2024, we included $1,500 worth of Chinese New Year goodies baked by Crunchy Teeth, a social enterprise bakery, in our giveaways. Partnering with Crunchy Teeth by Works of Hope, an inclusive project that enhances employment opportunities for autistic youths and adults, we aimed to share our blessings and well-wishes not only with our students but also with the wider community.

In 2018, we successfully raised $18,000 for the Children’s Cancer Foundation by donating all proceeds and corporate sponsorships from three of our school concerts. This initiative reflected our commitment to supporting important causes and making a positive impact on the community.

In 2017, we raised $16,800 during our Care and Share Week, with contributions from our very own DPA students. The funds were donated to Rotary Family Services under the Community Chest of Singapore. As part of this initiative, we hosted a 4-day dance camp for underprivileged children and teenagers, providing them with a positive and enriching experience.
