Erika Alexee Faustino Salanatin

Biography

Ever since the tender age of four, Erika has been immersed in the captivating world of dance. Under the nurturing guidance of Ms. Mariska Cendana, she has completed the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Graded examinations, from Pre-Primary to Grade 8, as well as the vocational grades, Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 1. Currently, Erika is pursuing Advanced 2.

Erika has further honed her skills at School of the Arts Singapore, where she delved into a myriad of dance genres, including contemporary, hip hop, and street jazz. She had the privilege of performing the choreography of numerous esteemed mentors, enriching her understanding of dance as a universal language of expression.

Erika has actively participated in Dancepointe Academy’s productions such as "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" (2018) and "Cinderella" (2022). Stepping out of her comfort zone, Erika enthusiastically participated in Dancepointe Academy’s immersion programs, immersing herself in the rich dance cultures of Osaka, Japan, and Bangkok, Thailand. These experiences not only deepened her passion for dance but also broadened her perspective on the art form.

Beyond the physicality of dance, Erika cherishes the profound connections she has forged within the dance community. Erika is dedicated to sharing the joy and vitality of dance with aspiring dancers, instilling the invaluable lessons of discipline, resilience, and camaraderie.
