Ms. Ong Yan Ping's commitment to dance education is evident through her comprehensive ballet journey, including completing exams of every grade and achieving Advanced 1 with the Royal Academy of Dance. Her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies and extensive 10+ years of teaching experience underscores her dedication to both her personal growth and imparting knowledge to others in the realm of dance.
Her involvement in the dance club - Strictly Dance Zone at Singapore Polytechnic showcased her versatility in dance genres like Street jazz, lyrical jazz, and contemporary. Serving as the Vice President, she not only contributed through choreography for projects and recitals but also actively participated in local dance competitions, demonstrating her skills with self-choreographed performances.
As a senior ballet mistress at Dancepointe, Ms. Ong Yan Ping has guided her students to success in prestigious competitions like GTB, HKCC, SCCDC, and CSTD. Their achievements, including awards and placings, reflect her dedication to nurturing talent. Ms. Ong firmly believes in the transformative power of dance, emphasising its ability to shape individuals and instil focus and discipline.
