Dancepointe Production “Magical Wonders ~ Make Your Dreams Come True!”

The long awaited Dancepointe Bi Annual Production is coming your way in December! Inspired by Disney fairytales, our concert is entitled “Magical Wonders~ Make Your Dream Come True”, staging at Victoria Theatre on 10 Dec 08.

Prepare your eyes for a feast of creatively choreographed dance items performed by 700 hundred students from all the Dancepointe schools, ranging from working adults and mothers, teenagers and children as young as 3 years old! They are all coming from different Dancepointe branches: Taman Jurong CC, Jurong West Sports and Recreation Centre and Anchorvale CC, as well as other CCs such as Sengkang CC and Tampines Central CC. You will see varying dance genres including Classical Ballet, Modern Contemporary, Tap, Lyrical and Funky Jazz and Hip Hop! This time our Hip Hop group is going to show case all the varying styles such as Breaking, Locking, House, Reggae and also lots of MTV moves!

This production revolves around a fairytale at a land called the “Magical Wonders”. A prince sends his bravest warrior in search of princesses deemed worthy of his true love. You will come face to face with 6 princesses and find out how they fare in an audition to be the prince's love. Will it be another happily ever after fairytale in the making? Come watch the story unfold before your eyes!

Dance Exchange Program in Hong Kong from 14 Dec to 21 Dec 2008!

We are going Hong kong for dance exchange from 14 Dec to 21 Dec! This year, our group of 30 students are going to dance their hearts out In Hong Kong famous dance school JEAN WONG SCHOOL OF DANCE, and the CITY CONTEMPORARY DANCE COMPANY. And we are also pleased to have our group of Hip Hoppers this year for the exchange, but of course at Hip Hop school called the DANZ STUDIO! What an exciting year for Dancepointe! Come back here for exciting photos and report after we are back! See you again! ”
